Most healthcare systems are designed to treat disease. Very few are designed to extend healthy years of life. Over the past decade, I’ve worked inside operating rooms, academic medical centers, and complex health systems supporting advanced clinical and digital technologies. One pattern has become clear: Longevity doesn’t fail because of technology. It fails because systems, incentives, and care models aren’t designed for prevention. I put together a short, one-page framework outlining what needs to be true for prevention-first healthspan to become real healthcare - embedded in care delivery, reimbursement, and governance, not isolated as wellness or pilots. The core idea is simple: longevity will be won in care models, incentives, data, and system design - not supplements or apps alone. For those building in digital health, care delivery, prevention, or policy - what do you see as the biggest barrier to scaling healthspan inside real health systems: measurement, reimbursement, ownership, or workflow adoption? #Healthspan #Longevity #DigitalHealth #PreventionFirst #HealthcareSystems
